What's Happening at Accents in October
October in the Hill Country is the good one. The heat finally loosens its grip, the light goes gold by late afternoon, and everybody remembers they own a cardigan. Here's what's happening at the boutique this month — and a save-the-date you'll want on the calendar.
Live sale: Thursday, October 1 at 3 PM CT
We're going live Thursday at 3 PM CT with what just landed on the floor — real try-ons, real sizing talk, and the honest "this one runs a little big" commentary you'll never get from a product photo.
We don't have the lives locked to a standing day yet, so the best way to catch the next one is to follow along: @AccentsBoutiqueTX on Instagram and TikTok, or Accents Boutique on Facebook. Our VIP list gets the heads-up too. Everything we feature lives in the Live Selling collection, so you can shop during the live or circle back later when you have both hands free. And if something you had your eye on is already spoken for, call us at (830) 693-7573. We can very often bring a piece back for you.
Pink Out — Thursday, October 15, open until 9 PM
Marble Falls goes pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're staying open late. Doors are open until 9 PM, so come after work, bring your girlfriends, and help us paint 212 Avenue H pink. Wear your pink and we'll do the rest.
Horseshoe Bay Fashion Show — Thursday, October 22
Save the date. We're bringing the runway to Horseshoe Bay on the 22nd, styling looks straight off our floor. Full details are coming — watch our Facebook and Instagram, join the VIP list to get them straight to your inbox, or give us a call and we'll fill you in as soon as we can.

The Autumn Social Collection has landed

Forty-seven pieces, and it is the clearest statement of the season we have made: rich seasonal color, bold prints, flattering silhouettes and real texture, finished with statement jewelry. Leopard and warm neutrals on one end, deep navy and burgundy on the other, built so the whole thing mixes and layers together.
Polished, bold, effortlessly fall. Browse The Autumn Social Collection.
Midnight & Mocha, fully stocked
Our fall collection is up to 51 pieces and it is exactly what the name promises: midnight navy, rich mocha, romantic florals and statement scarf prints, with just enough leopard running underneath it all. A little romance, a little drama, a whole lot of fall.
Browse Midnight & Mocha any time, or come see it on the rack — it photographs well, but the fabrics are the argument.
What just came in
New arrivals have been landing all week. A few worth a special mention:
- THML went deep on fall — a chocolate floral patterned sweater, an olive suede twist front top, a brown metallic animal print puff sleeve top, and a navy plaid zipper front midi dress that solves about four occasions at once.
- Cait & Kyla brought in soft tencel button-ups, including the Olivia shirt with embroidery and the Emma denim star shirt.
- Michelle McDowell restocked with the Kaylor bangle, the Lyla bracelet and the Jules necklace — the kind of pieces that make a plain sweater look intentional.
- And the WanderFull Merlot faux croc Hydrobag, because carrying a water bottle should not be a whole separate errand — the rest are in Hands-Free Bags.
The full run is in New Arrivals, and our team's own favorites are gathered in Staff Picks.
We're at Dallas Market, October 19–22
Four days of walking the showrooms and picking what comes home to Avenue H. This is the buying trip that fills the racks for the holidays, and it is the most fun part of the job.
We post from the market floor as we go — the things we fall for, the things we argue about, and the occasional piece we buy on the spot. Follow @AccentsBoutiqueTX on Instagram and TikTok, or Accents Boutique on Facebook, to come along. And tell us what you want us to look for: we do read those.
Game day, handled
Burnt orange, maroon, purple, red, and plenty of Mustang pride. Our Game Day collection has spirited pieces and team-friendly accessories for the stands or the couch, whichever way your Saturday goes.
A little Halloween, if you want it
Nothing costume-y — just a wink. Jess Lea sent us two mesh tops we are fond of, the Kate Mesh Top in Gigi the Ghost and the Keigan Mesh Top in Ghost, both of which read as "fun print" long after October 31.
Holiday is already showing up
Yes, already. Mary Square's holiday sweatshirts are in — Falala Season, Pink Lights, Berry Wreaths, Small Nutcrackers and Large Trees — along with Bella Sleep & Spa's ruffled pajama sets with velvet ties in ivory nutcrackers and pink stripes with doily trees. It is all gathered in Holiday Gifts.
If you are a person who likes to be finished with gifts by Thanksgiving, October is your month. Free gift wrap is always on the house.
Save the date: Holiday Open House, November 6–8

Three days, one big celebration. Friday November 6th through Sunday November 8th we're marking 34 years in Marble Falls with a Dian Malouf Trunk Show and our first look at the Holiday collections.
Shop, sip, sparkle, celebrate. Put it on the calendar now — this is the weekend to get first dibs on the new season, and our VIP list hears the details first.
Merle Norman: holiday starts October 23
Merle Norman's holiday collection and holiday gift with purchase both begin October 23. We sometimes set the holiday pieces out a little ahead of that, so it is worth asking when you are in. Merle Norman isn't sold on our website — call (830) 693-7573 and we will tell you what has arrived, what is coming, and put something aside for you.
Cooler air also changes what your skin needs, and the studio is the easiest place to sort that out. We wrote the whole routine up here: Your Fall Skincare Reset, Sorted at the Merle Norman Studio. There are also how-to videos on the Merle Norman Studio page, starting with a green-toned eye with Britney.
Two things worth booking
Ear piercing is back, by appointment. Details are in We're All Ears.
Personal styling is a closet intervention minus the judgment — an hour with someone who has seen every piece in the store. More on that here.
Either one starts with a phone call: (830) 693-7573.
Good to know
- U.S. orders of $100 or more ship free. No code, no carve-outs.
- Free gift wrap, every time.
- Curbside pickup and shipping are both available — just ask.
- Can't find a size online? Call us. There is a very good chance it is on the floor.
Stay in the loop
Dates move, new arrivals land without warning, and the live sales don't keep a standing day yet. Two ways to never miss one:
- Join the Accents VIP list — a short note twice a month: early access to new arrivals before they hit the website, trunk show and event invitations, seasonal lookbooks, and the occasional subscriber-only offer. No spam, unsubscribe any time.
- Follow along — @AccentsBoutiqueTX on Instagram and TikTok, and Accents Boutique on Facebook. That's where the lives get announced, where the new pieces show up first, and where we post live from Dallas Market.
While you're at it, Accents Points earns you rewards on what you're already buying.
Come see us
We are at 212 Avenue H in Marble Falls, right across from Blue Bonnet Cafe, women-run and serving the Hill Country with style since 1992. Stop in, say hello, and let us pull a few things for you.
