A registered bag carries a unique ID number and a two-year warranty under the Brighton Promise. Registration is what activates that coverage.

Yes, for registered leather handbags. Brighton states that cleaning and conditioning are free for the life of the bag, done by their in-house artisans. Straw and fabric handbags are excluded.

Brighton Leather Cleaner first, then Brighton Leather Conditioner or any quality leather lotion, applied generously with a soft cloth. Let it dry completely, then buff with a clean cloth.

Avoid silver cleaners, jewelry cloths containing chemicals, and harsh cleaning solutions.

Brighton lists these as permanent: ink, cosmetics, food, oils, body lotions, hand sanitizers and perfumes. Blotting quickly helps; a solvent will make it worse.

No. As Brighton puts it, leather is a natural material, so color and texture will evolve with use — just like your own skin. That patina is the bag aging normally, not a defect.
