About Tribal: The Brand, and Buying It Here

A women's clothing brand founded in Montreal, Canada — in their words, more than 50 years ago — to create clothing for a community of like-minded women.

Tribal does not publish a founding year, only “more than 50 years ago.” We could give you a number, but it would be a guess, and a guess about a brand's own history is not worth much.

Tribal's own line is that their clothing is designed by women for women. They describe garments as crafted with attention to detail using premium fabrics, with style experts working to keep fit consistent across the range.

Tribal says it is carried in over 2,000 specialty boutiques and online retailers across North America. We are one of those boutiques, here in Marble Falls.

Tops, bottoms, jeans, dresses, active and lounge, outerwear, and the Tribal+ Plus line. Their size chart also covers skirts, skorts, capris, bermudas, leggings, jeggings and swimwear.

Fit, and their Flatten It technology — a built-in tummy-control panel that shows up across pull-ons, trousers, capris, leggings and even swimwear. Their denim program is the other pillar.

Yes — XIX Palms is one. They also publish seasonal lookbooks each season.

Call us at 830-693-7573 and we will tell you what is actually on the floor. Boutiques buy from seasonal wholesale lookbooks, so our assortment is a curated slice of the full Tribal range rather than all of it — and colors shown on Tribal's own website may never have come through here.

The reason we are not quoting Tribal's policy here is that it does not apply. Tribal's 30-day terms govern purchases on their own website only.

No, and this is Tribal's own rule rather than ours. In their words: purchases made online must be returned to a Tribal distribution center and cannot be returned to a retailer, because their retail partners are independent stores.

It works the other way too — something bought here comes back to us, not to Tribal.

Bring it in or call us at 830-693-7573. Tribal handles defects on their own orders; a garment bought here is ours to make right, and we would rather you came to us first.

We do not know, and Tribal does not say either way on any of their pages, so we are not going to guess. Ask us and we will check with our rep.
